RULES:

1) It is not advised to be on this server if general profanity and sarcasm doesn't sit well with you. Absolutely take everything anybody says with at least an initial assumption that it is playful. Your mom jokes, playful ribbing, and things that would probably look horrifying for a stranger to walk into a church and say into groups of people, are not as such here. perversion. nonsense. some dark jokes sometimes. (see chart below.)

2) Rule 1 being said, that doesn't mean you can attack someone's sexuality, race, gender, religion, etc. There is a difference between profanity, vulgarity, and pointed attacks on things like that. Admin(s) will be the final straw but please, if you're joking and someone doesn't realize it absolutely and as quick as you can, make sure they know you're joking.

2.5) Rule 2 being said: If you know a wide swath of people are going to be triggered by something, strobing lights, animal cruelty/gore/shit with kids, you know the big ones- don't be a dick. put that under a spoiler and mark why you're doing it. Please.

3) Keep politics, or anything that could possibly be interpreted as politics, in the political-psychosis channel. and if you're sensitive from any side of politics, it's best that you stay out of the channel all together.

4) If you're having a terrible day and are grouchy to the level of snapping at people and you're aware of this, but need company, please let people know so we can understand why the usual smiles and light joking person is saying fuck every 3 words. I'm Neininch typing this, and I get like this from time to time.

5) Know that this is an 18+, NSFW, NSFL at times server. We're not vanilla vintage story. We're not trying to make it a sanitary place for everyone. That doesn't exist. If sanitary, people like Neininch will not survive there because they're not that sort of person. Likewise, if you're a sanitary, single lane, only one way person, you're not going to do good here. Please be aware. One person's paradise (ours) may look like another person's deeply offensive nightmare. We're not an airport, you don't have to say anything. You can just flee, as we flee from places we don't fit in.

6) 8.9.26 don't say you're going to the authorities/feds to snitch on somebody on the server, I don't even care if you're kidding, that's multiple levels of crazy, based on text from a chat in a video game? Just skipping all the way to permaban at that point. get that shit out of here. (obviously, if there's child abuse or sexual assault or shit like that, not only snitch immediately if you can but tell Neininch or whatever other admin too.  not having that shit on my server either. they deserve no quarter when they abuse animals/children/etc.)
